I was wondering In world War One, World war Two, Korea, and Vietnam, how often the various forces stripped off unit or rank markings. There are several figures I am doing from the afore mentioned wars and I want to get this detail down correctly. I have some references such as the Poles in 1939 deleting regimental and specialty patches.
