Figures are not my normal thing. However, my wife is a teacher and she's looking for some Revolutionary war figures for teaching purposes.

They need to be at least 1/32 scale. Pre-painted is optional. In additional to American and British soilders, she's also looking for French soilders. I've found some, but in 1/72 scale...too small. All can be regular foot soilders.

Another important thing: cost. She'd like to have maybe 5 or so figures of each. Therefore they can't be too expensive.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try I-R, which has quite a collection of unpainted (or painted, but they're much more expensive) Rev War figures. You can get them at any good model soldier shope. Here's one link that actually has some pictures of the figures:

BMC makes some reasonable plastic War of Independence figures in 1/32 or 54mm scale. You can get them in bags or a big boxed "battleground" set. There are personality figs like Washington on horse back, but also Colonials, Hessians, British, etc. They are toy soldiers but paint up nicely for projects and things.
