This is the old 1/35 Tamiya Panther kit with Eduard PE details. The figures are from 2 Dragon kits. The groundwork / tress is from Woodland Scenes. The insignia on the figures are from Archer fine transfers. Paints used were Humbrol, ModelMaster and Vallejo.
The scene are some Waffen SS planning a counterattck on D-Day +1.
Took about 1 month to put everything together.
Now to start on my 30+ figure battle for Hue diorama, or my Waterloo diorama, or Battle of the Buldge diorama, or my Gettysburg diorama. So many figures to paint and so little time!
The Panther weighed nearly 45 tons, and would definitely sink into soft turf. So you may want to think about positioning your model so it looks like it has some weight (currently one can see daylight under the tracks). Also, how did the tank get there? There should ideally be track marks and torn up turf to show its progress.
