to sail into Portsmouth, NH Naval Shipyard, so the Army took all the land in Rye, NH overlooking the entrance to the harbor at the mouth of the Piscataqua River and created Fort Dearborn with massive naval gun emplacements. All that is left are the concrete gun emplacements and a number of concrete observation posts and bunkers. One can see the outline of the turntable on which the guns sat. Today it is Odiorne Point State Park. Trees now block the line of sight of the water from the gun's spotting block houses.
While the Germans never attacked Portsmouth, local lore is that when Germany surrendered, one U-Boat popped right up not far from Portsmouth and the captain declared that a pilot was not necessary to bring the boat into the harbor, as he had already been there and had the maps to prove it.
There is no such thing as an unbuildable kit, just some kits one may consider not worth building.
