Today would have been my Grand Mother's 114 birthday. She was born in the Indian Territory which became Oklahoma in 1907. Loved to hear her stories of growing up on a farm , riding a mule to school with her sister. Seems so unreal to think of knowing someone that lived in the 1800's. She passed in 1964. I am aproaching her age myself now and to a childs eye she seemed so old when she died. Guess it was due to much harder life back then.
