does anyone know what's going on at pay-pal??

i don't use my pay-pal account much so it's kinda hard to keep up with all the changes. see if you can figure this out! my account balance was $88.83. i made an on-line purchase of $266.94. pay-pal took the full amount from my checking account.then i had the purchase refunded so my balance should now be $355.77. now i make another on-line purchase of $310.69 and now pay-pal takes $264.64 from my visa account, even though there is sufficient funds in my checking account!now my pay-pal account is showing a balance of $310.69. what's going on here?
