I haven't had a dog in some time and my sone wanted one real bad. I have a neighbor that works for the Animal control department here in Sugar Land and she told me about this one. She was born at a local vet and they had three left. Lab puppies are cute as the dickens! She is 6 months old a yellow lab and already house trained.
Seems to be pretty smart as she has already learned to sit and stay while we fill her bowl . Now any of you know much about training them to hunt upland birds?

As a veteran of 3 labs-best dogs but

the puppy phase seems to run twice as long as most other dogs and THEY LOVE TO CHEW. Don't skimp on chew toys.

So run you cur. And tell the other curs the law is coming. You tell 'em I'm coming! And Hell's coming with me you hear! Hell's coming with me!

A friend of mine...

has a new Black Lab puppy...9 months and about 80 pounds of puppy. Friendly as all get out but Stanley made one mistake. When the puppy was small they used to let him sit in their lap a lot. Now he thinks that is the way to go and MAN!! He is way too big for a lap dog! happy.gif
