What a vacation!

Been raining and windy most of this week. Luckily the baseball tourney my son has been playing in has been missed by the showers. So last night I'm on the computer minding my own business when my wifes cell phone rings....

It's my son informing us that he put a friends's car in the ditch avoiding Bambi! After checking on everyone's health I asked what kind of a car it was? Answer? BMW!

Drove out to look at the car. Passenger side pretty much scraped from stem to stern. The friend's father seemed somewhat happy about the whole thing. Curious.

Find out this morning that they got the car from a neighbor who was going bankrupt. Only paid $1800 for it and had put $1500 more into repairs. Guess they were trying to find a way to get rid of it and my son did it for them!

Well, their insurance covers the car and we will pay the deductable out of our pocket. The dad is praying the insurance company "totals out" the car. He was looking at cars for sale after we left last night!

BTW, it is a 2001 325I.

A deal, deal! Maybe He's a Republican?
60 feet of bridge I can get almost anywhere. Schmuck!
