Not the same as my first "hot rod" but close enough. I'd have to ditch the black though and go with the teal mine had on top under the white paint. I guess the previous owner didn't like the pastel shades? And it would need the Vickie side trim. Mine didn't have the plexi roof, which was fine with me. A fun car for the time, 1965. Now days I'd drop a 5.0 in it with a good 5 or 6 speed tranny and a much more modern suspension and brakes. And I'd avoid the 300 pounds of plumber's lead the previous owner poured into the frame rails.

It handled great ........ until it broke loose. Then it went straight sideways. And boy was it hard on shocks!! At least one, if not two, sets a year. However I think that's the only reason the front tires touched the ground at anything over 100 mph.
Yeah, I wouldn't mind having any of those vehicles in my garage. Even that sickly green AMX.

Boy we built some ugly cars around here! Interesting, but UGLY!!
