I have a 2nd edition of Washing of the Spears by Donald Morris. It is about the Zulu and the Zulu wars. It is signed by him to me.

Hi Mike. Too bad he made it out to you ...

... from a collectors point of view, a signed "first edition" is usually worth more than an un-signed first edition. However, if the author makes it out to an individual, most collectors are NOT really interested in purchasing it (unless, of course, the individual the author makes it out to is more notable than the author - in your case, the book may be priceless! wink.gif)

He who dies with the most toys wins!!
