A couple of girlfriends back, I had one who liked to sew as a hobby and had a stash of material. She sprung her stash on me before I ever mentioned having a kit stash.

When I did tell her, she understood completely.

A few months into it she starting getting very possessive.
I'm a very independent old cuss, and it didn't mix too well.
She's a dog person, I'm a cat person.
