Coaches,
1. All entry fee money must be in hand by the tournament start. Failure to do so will result in team elimination from the tournament.
2. Rosters must be submitted by 1/30/2007 @ 5:00 P.M.. (Please use the attached form for entry purposes.)
3. All scratches and changes are due February 2 10:00 A.M..
4. There will be no weigh out on Friday night. Weigh-ins will be conducted on Saturday 8:00 A.M..
5. Program information must be submitted to bdavis@twinsburg.k12.oh.us no later then 1/28/07. Please include team name, team colors, location of schools, coach’s name, assistant coaches, dual meet record, tournament finishes, team summary and outstanding wrestlers on the squad, other pertinent information may be included at the coach’s discretion.
Coaches Packet:
Please pay attention to dates and times to ensure proper entry and seeding of your tournament.
1. NO SEEDING MEETING will take place prior to the tournament. Seeding will done by the tournament committee.
1. Coaches must include all A team matches (including dual, tri, and tournament matches) wrestled during the middle school season. Failure to comply with this rule may result in a wrestler’s removal from the tournament. (10 match minimum)
1. Seeding format: 8 Seeds
A. Returning Jr. High State champion @ same weight.
B. Returning Jr. High State champion @ different weight.
C. Returning Jr. High State placer @ same weight.
D. Returning Jr. High State placer @ different weight.
E. Returning TAB champion @ same weight.
F. Returning TAB champion @ different weight.
G. Returning TAB placer @ same weight.
H. Returning TAB placer @ different weight.
I. Returning TOC champion @ same weight
J. Returning TOC champion @ different weight
K. Returning TOC placer @ same weight
L. Returning TOC placer @ different weight
M. Best winning percentage (10 match minimum).
N. Ties go to the most victories, then a coin flip.
O. Remaining spots will be drawn by a pill procedure assigning each non-seeded school a number.
1.Indicate the criteria each wrestler has met on the seeding sheet.
2.No weight class changes. The initial weight class a wrestler is placed is final.
3.A completed copy of the team roster is due to TAB_Roster@yahoo.com by Tuesday January 30 by 5:00.
4.Any changes that may occur do to illness or injury must received at TAB_Roster@yahoo.com no later than 10:00 AM Friday 2nd..
5.If an A wrestler cannot compete in a weight class, a team’s B team wrestler will have the opportunity to wrestle. NO Weight Class Bumping!
6.Only two coaches are permitted on the mat at any one time. Individuals collecting stats are not permitted in the coach’s corner. (NO FANS, TEAMMATES or PARENTS ARE PERMITTED INSIDE THE ROPED AREA.)
