If a wrestler does not make weight on Saturday night district weight-ins, does he get another opportunity to weigh in Sunday morning or is he out?

If you are referring to junior high districts, weigh ins for all districts are on Sunday morning only. From 7-8:30 a.m.

JH District weigh in

Just wanted to answer a few questions that have popped up in the last few days.

Early weigh ins are Saturday 4:00pm to 6:00pm Saturday at Thomas Worthington Hight School. They will be held in the gym. If they do not make weight they will be able to try again on Sunday (same location) morning 6:30am to 8:30am. No Weight allowance. The weight you signed up for is what you must weigh. No none zip zero weight allowance . If you do not make weight you can not bump classes. So make weight.

Brackets for the Jr High Central District will not be available for viewing until Sunday morning. The reason being we have had several people contact me about not being able to wrestle due to injury or illness. To me it does not make sense to post brackets when an entire weight class can be shuffled after weigh ins, and yes every year it happens.
Seeding is as follows Jr High state place, Jr High District place, Grade school place, record. I have one weight class where just about every wrestler will be seeded again if someone drops out the weight class will be re-seeded.

Coaching bands will be available at the door the cost is five dollars. This is in addition to your admission.

We will have a pancake breakfast starting at 6:30 am five dollars all you can eat.

I think that about covers it. This is my first post on here so if I messed up sorry

Any questions feel free to contact me. I will check the huddle several times the next 24 hours. Or you can email rwaring@insight.rr.com

Thank you

Rusty Waring
OAC Jr High Central District Tourney Director

The OAC Jr. High State web site says "All district weigh-ins begin at 7 a.m. and end at 8:30a.m. with wrestling beginning at 10:00 am." You can find it under the RULES tab on the left side of the screen.
