If you are part of a sanctioned OHSAA wrestling team than you can not compete in any open tournaments until after the end of the season. The last day for MS/JH wrestling is Monday Feb 4. If your club team has the ability to wrestle other MS/JHs then I would think that your club team is an official MS/JH team, which means you would be unable to wrestle in opens until after Feb 4. If you club team is not an official team then you are able to compete in the open tournaments. This is my understanding. I have been an official for only two years and the club thing is not something I have truely looked into but do have a little experience on. Hope this helps.
