At the moment I'm not working because of just having my baby but I am taking the steps to become financially independant. I do have a good education and I know there are alot of resources out there for single moms. Thanks so much!

Steph,

I am glad that you realize this and are not totally dependent on your fiance. Good for you!  I have been married for 17 years and that was a hard one for me since we own a business together. My financial success was directly tied to my husband. But you sound like a strong and confident woman who was just thrown for a major loop. You will pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get on with your life! Since you have a child together he will always be a part of your life, but not the main focus of your life I hope. You and your daughter need to come first, above all else.

Believe it or not Steph, you are doing well with all of this although you may not feel like you are. And some days you will feel better than others.  This is normal, especially right after having a baby. You have a lot on your plate right now....but you have a good head on your shoulders, it show through in your writing. You will get through this.

Take Care....Carol~
