happy moment....

I just wanted to share a happy time with you all. I was on HH this morning and read Hopes post titled “rings” on the open board. I also read everyone’s replies. Although I never took my ring off after D-Day I agreed with many peoples feelings regarding the negative attachment to the old rings. I woke my W up and suggested that we go get new rings because I too felt that it represented a stained past with broken promises like so many of you did. At first she cried and said that it’s her wedding ring that I gave her but quickly came around and agreed that it may be a good idea. We immediately went to the jeweler and both got brand new rings . I know it does magically fix everything but it just one more baby step towards healing and a new beginning. She told me on the ride home that she actually feels a sense of relieve and that she is happy we did this. She said to her it represents the second change I gave her and our NEW marriage. I agree
