>>...set up a pay-per-view special that on the outside appears to be just another spinoff of the OR (but it won't be referred to as such in the story, of course)<<
For some *bizzare* reason, I have this idea in my head of Searcher reviving the OR (possibly under a different name, but it's *obviously* OR '03) in an attempt to get key persons (I can think of 24, 8 of which are from Quasispace) to gather and compete, so that Searcher may discreetly off them when they are exhausted from the fightning.
Imagine his surprise when *none* of the former OR competitors show up...
Just wanted to run that up the flagpole to see who salutes. Personally, I think yours is better.
Anyway, now for the Searcher-as-final-boss thing. If three-on-one doesn't seem IC, and you can't think of someone to put on a team with Searcher, there are two ideas we haven't explored yet:
1) The Mystery Villain. He showed up in eps. 102 and 103, and we were supposed to get more details in this episode, but barring an appearance in the closing skit, he'll probably remain a mystery for now. He might make a good boss (if Searcher never does fight) or teammate (if he does).
2) Use one of Shade's ideas. Shade brought up the idea that, after the three-episode Lance-as-Mad story arc, Searcher may want to make a clone of the vulpine sociopath. If searcher does that, he may also want to clone other Quasispacers.
What do you think? Will any of this help?

As long as nobody wants to kill me for making these suggestions, I'm happy.
