In a twisted twist of fate, the hoodlums will not play tonight as support for Minky Joe Harte. This is because the sound engineer for Mickey Harte...a Mr.Ronan Murphy (i'll find out where you live), rang me and said he wouldn't be able to accomodate us cos he was expecting an acoustic singer/songwriter and there would be no time to switch equipment if the hoodlums were to play.
To avoid running the risk of court proceedings i will say that i WILL not hunt Ronan Murphy down and WILL not give him the worst beating of his life which WILL not include several wedgies(both regular and frontal) and severe blue tits(right on the nipple)
However all is not lost as edward mcGeoy rang me a few minutes later to ask could we do an acoustic set with just guitar and singing. so after an hour spent on the fone ringing coffey and murtagh they agreed to do a short set.They are going to play under the name The Asswipes as they wouldn't be able to bring themselves around to playing under the name The Hoodlums with their drummer Paddy and beloved bassist Diarmaid not being there too.
Anyway as we only get an average of 6people a day on the site and 3 people have already been on already today then on average only 3 people will see this msg, but ill post this msg anyay and ill ask those 3 people to go to the rustic tonite cheer on The Asswipes, boo Minky Joe Harte and find out the adress of Mr.Ronan Murphy--sound engineer.Ok?

I hate Mickey Joe Harte so much. I hope no-one turns up tonight.He will have to go out on the dance floor while playing the guitar to get the "crowd" going. God I hope someone just slides up on their knees and air guitars him. That would be funny.

that's so strange cos when mickey harte played on saturday he actually did come out into the "crowd" and then some blonde fella slid out and played air guitar.
i can't remember who it was but he was an asshole and i hope i never see him again-like mickey harte.

I didn't happen to see that Blonde Sex-Machine Airguitarin' it up but remind me to shake his hand the next time he's out. I heard that he might make an apperarence at Big Generator, but that could be just speculation.
