Re: A question for the Men out there... October 14 2004, 6:17 AM

Margie, this is my opinion only.

Whether man or woman, we're all wired to appreciate the, um, aesthetic pleasures in life. My W watches football games with me. Not because she's into the nuances of the game, but because she likes to check out the tight ends.

In my opinion, there is NOTHING wrong with appreciating the beauty of the opposite sex.

It's when a person starts getting into porn and/or having affairs that the problems begin.

The key is learning where that line is and being strong enough not to cross it.

Cory

Sight and Vision are two differ

Love at first sight is easy to understand; it's when two people have been looking at each other for a lifetime that it becomes a miracle.

Life would be much easier if I had the source code.

Not wanting to talk for Cory who is a very close and dear friend to me and my family. But he may not be able to answer this post, so I am taking the liberty to explain....Cory is visually impaired so for him sight and vision are litterally 2 different things.

And as you walk you make your path Kat

To me, it's the same difference as between HEARING and LISTENING: you can simply HEAR noise, but to truly LISTEN, you must be thinking & paying attention.....anyone can simply SEE, but VISION means you are engaged in the process!

In a personal e-mail:

"To me, what that phrase means is this: Everyone sees things, but to be able to look BEYOND what you see and discover what lies beneath, between, behind and around what you see, requires vision.

You can post that up there if you want....

Cory"
