I rode my bike in the MS150 from Duluth to the Twin Cities this weekend!! I rode 123 miles and took a van for 27 miles. My personal goal was to do 50 miles each day and the first day I did 70 out of 70 miles and 53 out of 80 miles today. I am very proud of myself. Never mind the fact that I was the very last one over the finish line, at least I got over it!! Not bad for an almost 50 year old woman with MS. I also raised twice as much money for the MS society than I pledged to raise and that was a great accomplishment also.
I feel GREAT!

VERY, VERY IMPRESSIVE! Congrats jbean, I'm proud of you.
As you probably remember, I do a little bicycle riding myself.
I am signed up for a local ride in a couple weeks to benefit the American Cancer Society - The morning after my W and I participate in the Relay For Life Cancer walk. Now I know I have to do the full 50 miles!

Pretty amazing.
When I was a college student I thought that a 25-30 mile bike ride over a couple of hills was something special. 70 miles in one day at any age is a big deal.

I don't understand why thats such a big deal, I ride my bike 100 miles a day without any concerns. Oh, you mean a bicycle. With pedals. Well thats very different. Just kidding.
I think that its just great that you can do that for yourself and for a worthy organization. You have every reason to be proud, as everyone here is of you.
