Hi everyone, I just wanted to share some news - I took a new job! I left my old position after 9 years, and took a promotion to a VP of a Company. The promotion was great and I'm now making 50% more than I did 6 months ago! Part of me was sad to leave my staff of nine years - made me realize that relationships come and go so easily. Funny when I think about three years ago, co-workers, friends, husband ...my my how life changes. .....

I am also still seeing the man across the county - it's been 1.5 years now ! And it is still wonderful - would be better if he lived here - but sometimes I wish for that and sometimes I am happy for my freedom? Guess life is never truly perfect? But you just have to be happy for what you have.

I don't think about the affair much anymore - although I am still angry that "they" got away with it so easily. They're apparently adopting a baby this year. I only hope he still remembers what he did - when he looks in that mirror. You can run - but can you really hide from yourself?

Life is great for the most part - and when you think about the sad past ...just close your eys and wake up to a new day....there's ALWAYS a new day !

a bloke on the other side of the country, sounds like the best of both worlds, you have a companion but you also have your own space! excellant.
