#37

Yup, today is our wedding anniversary #37. My H is excited to celebrate our life together. He says without those 37 years, we would not have our wonderful three kids - and the life we now have.

This morning he woke me up early and we took a long walk around a misty - birds singing everywhere - lake. He wrote a simple card for me about his love for me and his deep appreciation for my ability to heal from his A.

Folks, he has restarted counseling - 2 1/2 years after our final D-day. He wants to be a better person, a husband he says I deserve.

We are still a marriage in progress, but with a love that runs deep. His remorseful actions have made me know I made the right decision to reconcile.

Thanks to all at HH that have aided me on my path to healing. You have often helped me question my gut, see the bigger picture, soothed my wounds, and made me know I wasn't alone.

Thank you.

Happy #37! Good job and getting this far. We know that the last few have not been easy, but it seems like everything has been moving in the right direction, so I hope for 37 more for you and Mr. JJ.
