Band:TROGLODYTE
The Mic: What got this band together and started in
this business?
TROGLODYTE: It was something that was bound to happen we were all friends before we started this band
. Different members of this band played with each other in different bands before and after
troglodyte was formed. As for the business it comes hand in hand can't have one without
the other
The Mic:Who writes and produces all the material for
the band?
TROGLODYTE: Sisson, Riedell, Wilson, have written all the music and vocals for the current songs that
we play live and that will be on the debut cd. In the future we hope to write as a whole.
The Mic:The band played in front of or with any acts
our readers would
know from the Mainstream?
TROGLODYTE: Inheret disease, unmerciful,diskreet, many more to come in the future.

The Mic:Any embarrassing moments on stage?
TROGLODYTE: we wear ridiculous masks not much can embarass us but we are waiting for
a good moment!!!
The Mic:Any good stories you want to tell us?
The Mic:Who is the bands musical influence?
TROGLODYTE: deffinetly carcass, morbid angel, origin, hate eternal bands of that nature.
The Mic:How did the band get together?
TROGLODYTE: wilson, and Sisson hanging out in downtown kansas city mo and a little too much
alcohaul, Sisson came up wih the concept and wilson thought it was a good idea so at that point
we needed a guitar player. Riedell was the perfect person for the job. Wilson and Riedell
got together and wrote a handfull of songs brought them to Sisson to write vocals.
the demo was recorded played 1st show as a 3 piece band drums,guitar,vox. Brought schiefelbusch on bass
and the rest is history.
The Mic:What is your musical background like?
SISSON: concert, jazz band, etc.
WILSON: very wide metal, jazzy stuff, rock, self taught have recorded and jamed with many bands.
RIEDELL: rap, death metal, 50's music, sludge, punk
SCHIEFELBUSCH: classic rock, southern metal, classical
The Mic:Any other members in your family that are
musicians?
SISSON:dad
WILSON:uncle rich ray
RIEDELL:uncle larry, grandpa hal dean, mom, cousins
SCHIEFELBUSCH: everyone in family
The Mic:What is the TOP reason why you want to play
music?
SISSON: get out of my cave
WILSON:its the funnest thing to do can't imagine not doing it
RIEDELL:dont want to work
SCHIEFELBUSCH:it makes me feel good
what's your stance on file swapping?
SISSON:thumbs up
WILSON:i download constantly
RIEDELL:i'm a pirate
SCHIEFELBUSCH:whatever
what is the process of making a cd?
TROGLODYTE: its pretty easy write, record, sell don't overthink it and have as much fun with it
as possible don't take anything to seriously then the fun is gone.
how do you get the word out about your music?
TROGLODYTE: myspace type sites seems to be about the only way besides word of mouth for a unsigned band.
how is your local responce to your music?
TROGLODYTE: seems to be pretty good right now we are one of the bigger drawing metal acts in our town right now.
what is the farthers you have traveled for a gig?
TROGLODYTE: 4 hours but i'm sure that is going to change i hope!
