Hello good friends, brothers, sisters, fellow compatriots.

It has been very quiet here as there has not been anything of signifigance to report on.

Since the "OXI" vote, we have been busy lobbying to hopefully and finally get our well deserved recognition...even if it is only partial...for now.

It is very unfortunate that our southern compatriots could not accept us as equals.

But then again, it doesn't really matter anymore since the Turkish initiative to open the borders gives everyone all the freedom they are entitled to in Kibris.

BTW, I have re-registered on your site patrinamou as you banned my last registration

Regards,
Kibrisli

and finally get our well deserved recognition...

Soooo...

THAT was it all about huh? How to be entitled as..."trnc" or whatever you call it...

Well, it was always OBVIOUS and CLEAR to us the backthought you always had when voting "Yes".

You don't give a penny for Cyprus unification..- it's just enough for you to "get" a "recognition" - who cares for "unifications" right now...

"Unification" with TWO separate states on the same island, IS NOT unification after all...

BTW, you will NEVER rub what you really want to rub...

Your adaptation to the International Law will come, as a slow train coming... Things are out of your control...

Cypriana's Corner!!!
Racist, depraved, BRAINWASHED Corner! more like it.

Good to look through it and get a good appreciation of Greek exaggerations and LIES.

Wonder what would have happened if the Ottomans didn't let those peasants stay in Cyprus after the conquest from Venetians.

When the hell did the Greeks actually control/run Cyprus like their new delusioned decipals believe??

What gives them the right to seek control of our Island we conquered from Venetians?? Population???

Unfortunately the southerners refuse to see that they owe their existance to our Ottoman Fathers, but regardless of their denial, deep down they know the truths.

Despite their hatred, ignorance & denial of our existance, we still love them

Hi Guys, I am getting all sorts of stick from people on other boards so I might as well get abused here too!

I am a Brit who has chosen to buy a house and move to North Cyprus in the near future. Why ? Well ok the price of what I can buy is good, and my money goes further, and being a land of opportunity I just may be able to run a small business associated with the tourist industry, yes I once lived here and like Cyprus, I like the Turkish people, and quite admire Muslims despite the extremists, and having some Jewish blood in me I just love it when the underdog gives out a big slap.

Wading through the masses of propaganda from the South and sliping in between the open agression of both the N and S zealots, one occasionally reads pearls like "leave us alone ad we will live in integrated harmony".

Is this actually possible? given the history of the island and the cultural differences of the populace?
If somehow all troops were withdrawn, the property issue was settled, the two mainland (Big Dogs) kept out of it...and for good measure the British gave up the SB areas, would the two communities get it together and live in harmony, or is there too much water under the bridge to hope this could happen ?

Best Regards Tony E

Tony
Thankyou for choosing to live in the North

As to your Question Can TC's and GC's live together NO Greeks said it in the referandum to

we never lived together anyway it looked like we lived together but in 1950's EOKA was Killing British and Turkish Cypriots then During the Republic of Cyprus years from 1960 to 1963 there was a lot of problems 1963 GC's with their ENOSIS Plan (unification of the island with Greece ) more troubles started

For 11 years we were made refugees our villages burnt and so on
1974 EOKA leader samson made another attempt to take control of the island and unite the island with Greece

Turkey used its rights to put a stop to this nonsense

As you can see we have been living in peace for the past 31 years

WE NEVER LIVED TOGETHER WE LIVED ON THE ISLAND AS TWO SEPERATE COMMUNITIES

what I dont underestand is why EU and others want unification of the island to have more innocent people killed for piece of land (dirt)

WE HAVE PROVEN THAT WE CAN LIVE SIDE BY SIDE IN PEACE AS WE ARE doing NOW

While there are DOUBLE STANDARDS - TAKING SIDES AND FOR THE SAKE OF FEW VOTES OF THE COOMUNITIES THAT LIVE IN OTHER COUNTRIES LIKE UK THERE WILL ALWAYS BE UNFAIR DECISIOMS made

Same goes to Greek Cypriots if they give 1 inch from the position they are in their Politions will be called TRATORS same as Turkish Cypriots why do we have to suffer anymore Giving more control to the GC's

Tony help us and yourself if you want yo live in the north with Turkish Cypriots write to your MP's to EU lobby them for your rights if you want to live in the north GC's have no right to stop you

if TC's Join the EU you want be able to afford to buy a property in the north the prices will catch up with the south

NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY

TRNC SHOULD GIVE SOME INCENTIVE TO PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT WANTS TO BUY PROPRTY IN THE NORTH TO SET A BUSINESS IN THE NORTH

My kind regards

Have you got no other thing of WORTH to say other than 'shame on you'? FYI, SHAME ON YOU for persecuting Turks on Cyprus from 63-74!!! and you are trying to persecute us now!!! GCs will never change.......

Tony,
I would like to echo my compatriots sentiments to you - Thanks for buying in the north and supporting TRNC.
Yes, the Israelis gave a good slap to the Egyptians, Syrians etc in the 1967 war, just as the Turks gave a slap to our enemies who tries to annihilate us.
Israel and turkey has an excellent relationship, ever since Turkey started to take in the persecuted Jews during the WW2 when they had nowhere to go.
We continue this alliance through your military help where alot of Israeli defence companies are investing in Turkey and vice versa - we are ready to give another slap to our enemies - if need be!
I am living in London at the moment but plan to move to TRNC this year - i have a house in Ozankoy. I heard there are many Israelis buying in TRNC but i have not met any in my home town. Is it true? if so, is there a strong Jewish community anywhere in the north?

About living with the GCs.
We have been living in peace in the north for over 30 years and i see no reason why we should pander to the EU or RoC to force reunification down our throats.
I've heard that there is growing concern about the formation of an EOKA type extremism in the ranks of some GCs which will be met HEAD ON by our own Grey Wolves. I think reunification spells trouble for our idyllic home in the north - the GCs can never accept us as equals - that is the problem - they will always be trying to oppress us one way or another because they believe Cyprus is a greek island.
I've lived among GCs in London and had no troubles but it will be a different story on Cyprus.

Best Regards, Adnan.

Cypriana, the lands are not stolen they are just exchanged. But you see, your people have knocked so many Turkish houses in the south down to make motorways, car parks and supermarkets. The Turks and Brits instead have renovated the former Greek homes, no wonder you want it back.

Do me a favour and piss off.

Shame on you, you selfish tart.

To Cyriana
When it suits you - you are a Cypriana
But when you demonstrate you demonstrate with Greek flags

When you stole our land and burnt our villages to the ground and we were made refugees what was that called

STOLEN LAND PLUS ETHNIC CLENSING

we didnt steal your land you left it you went to the south

You know why you left it because you were scared for the crimes you committed between 1963 to 1974 thats why you all went to the south

Remember we didnt run from our homes in the south we were made prisoners by you

The GC's that stayed behind they stayed in their homes not as prisioner

Cypriana Tell me if above is wrong

Cypriana don't talk like trained parrot stolen land crap come up with facts

Go and ask Questions to your people they staffed our country up for the sake of enosis

Ask them about EOKA ENOSIS MAKARIOS EOKA TERRORIST LEADERS GRIVAS SAMSON AND TASOS P
Ask why Samson killed GC's for enosis in 1974

Tony my Friend thats the difference between Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adnan, Always-A, Kibrisli,
Hi Guys,
My thanks for your thanks. I have to say that I am becoming more impressed with the TC population and the TRNC the more I deal with them.
I think it will be a good place to live and work out my days. Might even learn a little more about Islam, now that should make me an even bigger target!

Lapsed Jews my side of the family, we can over from Romania to the Uk where we built boats on the canals, then emigrated to the US via Ireland
and lost the faith along the way.

The tax breaks /incentives for starting a business in the TRNC are good,
and it would seem that the way you have retained general control of the land rather than allow foleigners to buy up vast tracts, (viz the 1 donum / head rule) should stop the Mafia from corrupting the North the way they have the South. Also, the necessity for a TC partner with 51% control whilst not to my liking does at least keep things "TC'fied".
So I think you are getting it right. And before anyone shouts about stealing land, my tourism ideas will involve land with Turkish title if I am to invest my limited reserves. Whilst I can roll the dice on my house plot and go for exchange land, a more serious investment needs a more cautious approach I feel.

If you guys ever talk to your politicians or elected members, suggest to them that based on the rehetoric from the South that they make it a condition of any settlement that the T troops stay on the island. I have heard nothing from the southern contributors yet that would indicate any desires for an equable settlement, but plenty that tells me they want to put the clock back to pre '74, and I hope that never happens.

Just visited Cypriana's Corner, that is more surreal than anything I have found so far, even further out that the other .54 boards.
I reccon the rift caused by the last 1/2 century of events is just too deep and the races too volatile to heal, bless you people of Mediterranean origin, at least you can still show emotion!

Said it before but Cyprus in very much like Ireland, the N wants to be /have the protection of the British, the South wants independence, but it wants the six counties back on the South's map, there is the PIRA and the North paramilitaries and there is a religious divide too. The punch up in Ireland has been going on from befiore I was born, they too have a lovely island and still it remains divided. I guess that is because their aims are so different. If we (global we) cannot organise common goals on this piece of the earth what hope have we (collective you, in Cyprus?

We must meet up sometime in the TRNC and drink a toast, any suggestions to what we drink ?

Best Regards TonyE
