Cypriana! I agree with Bertan. How can you seek unification and a peaceful settlement when all you espouse is anti Turkish and pro Greek. There must be some concessions made - you cannot have everything your way - otherwise there will be no solution and all you shall have is memories of a once united Cyprus.

Regardless of your views of either two separate states or one country the point is your site seems to be racially motivated and unified in its hatred of Turks. This is not a good platform in which to begin discussions. With the exception of a couple of gentlemen who are polite, and are actually helping educate me, the general tenor is pretty awful, and I am beginnning to suspect the posters are mainlanders rather than those with actual direct interests.

I actually suggested that I give the exchange land back to the "original owner" if he would like to buy the house that I am having built, and this seems to have infuriated them even more. Again, I think they don't really want a solution other than the "Final" one.

The visit last month turned into a mad rush and left no time for anything else of a social ilk. The final pain was when I told AOL I did not want their broadband as I was moving to another provider, they closed my account from that day and I lost my address book et al.

IBM decided to dispense with my services, so have decided to become a freelance lorry driver for the last few months before moving to Cyprus, quite fun going through the preparation for the driving test after I took the first one in 1964.

In one way the London troubles have had a good outcome, the Islamic community has decided to come of the fence and intead of keeping quiet about the suicide bombers (which annoys the hell out of us natives!), they are making statements about it NOT being the primary aim of the Koran to blow up women and children in the name of Islam..this has done the Muslims a power of good over here.

Also, the government has started to look at expelling the ranting preachers of hate, about time too.

Discovered that my licence from '64 covers 7.5 tonners as well, so I did a couple of days with a driving school and sat through the test videos just to get the hang of it..must have scared the hell out of the pedestrians in Southampton!

I have found a prospective partner for a watersports business in the TRNC and am getting my safety ticket for para tows / jetski's etc etc before I come out. Would like to set it up and be operating for Summer 06, so I realy need to be there by January next year to get it all in place and the necessary permits granted.

I am quite shocked not only to note that there are so many `Gavurs´using this Türkish Cypriot forum, but at the amount of tolerance you (Türks) give them.
It is apparent not only by many of the postings that they have written, but by the initial unjustified attack I recieved that they have no remourse for any of the events that took place pre 74, and that they are our true enemies in the sense that they are only operating on this site to promote greek propoganda and hatred towards Türks.
I therefore do not see why we should show them any hospitality, or courtessy in our responces.
If they were genuinely remourseful of the genocide they tried to perform on Türkish Cypriots, that would be another matter, but they are not.
I truely believe that gavurs are the most stubborn, pig headed, ignorant, decieptful, truth twisting, war mongering, hateful, cowardly, cruel, race on this planet and that is why there will never be a peaceful reunification of Kibris!
In the event that Talat and CTP get their unification dream it will be the worst thing that could ever happen to KKTC, and would surely as day follows night, result in more bloodshed and further war!
