Northern Cyprus Sends Search-and-rescue Team To Pakistan

LEFKOSA - Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) sent search-and-rescue team and relief equipment to Pakistan following last weekend's major earthquake.
Turkish Cypriot Airlines (KTHY) plane carrying a 12-member search-and-rescue team, a 5-member health team and 12.5 tons of humanitarian aid including foodstuff, blankets, medicine and equipment will leave for Pakistan via Turkey on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, TRNC Parliament Speaker Fatma Ekenoglu called on Turkish Cypriot people to give a helping hand to quake survivors.
