Inonu Martys are being remembered today with a special ceremony in the village of Inonu.
Inonu Martys are being remembered today with a special ceremony in the village of Inonu.
During the ceremony, a monument build for the Inonu Martyrs will also be inaugurated.
President Mehmet Ali Talat is also expected to attend the ceremony which is to begin shortly.
A wreath laying ceremony will be held for the five men - Ali Hasan, Ali Mustafa Yorganci, Yusuf Hasan, Ahmet Mehmet and Mehmetemin Ibrahim who were rounded up and massacred on the 12th of July 1958 on their way to work.
