ATCA SENDS LETTER TO UN SG BAN

The Association of Turkish Cypriots Abroad, or ATCA, has sent an informative letter to the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon on the Cyprus issue.

The letter was sent with the aim of explaining to Mr Ban the Turkish Cypriot People’s positive approach towards the Cyprus issue.

The Association of Turkish Cypriot Abroad sent a letter to UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon.

The informative letter – which was handed to UN officials today at the Ledra Palace crossing point – will be forwarded to Mr Ban.

In its letter, the ATCA provides information about the real causes of the Cyprus problem and demands Mr Ban’s support for the lifting of the international isolation of the Turkish Cypriot people.

A sample of a TRNC Identity Card with ID No-1 - prepared for Ban Ki Moon was attached to the letter to draw the attention to the continuation of international isolation.

Speaking while presenting the letter to UN officials, the Association’s USA Representative Emcet Taº explained that the Association was established in July 2003, with the aim of explaining the just cause of the Turkish Cypriot People.

He added that the Association has been carrying out effective
lobbying on the Cyprus issue and working on ways of organizing and uniting the Turkish Cypriots living abroad.

ATCA seriously damages Turkish Cypriots

ATCA seriously damages Turkish Cypriots with silly moves such as sending the UN Secretary General a "TRNC" ID card! This only proves to the UN that anybody can get a hold of this worthless ID without going through meticulous evaluation.

The ATCA internet forum is also not doing Turkish Cypriots any justice because far too many immature and uneducated forum regulars are left un-moderated and thus posting racist, offensive, and childish rubbish and are clearly unable to tackle the technically challenging Cyprus problem when necessary.

All in all ATCA has in the space of 2-3 years become synonymous with disaster for the Turkish Cypriot community and is often the ridicule in other Cypriot forums.

Regards, GR.

ATCA's objectives are not to impress people like yourself or other "Cyprus forums".

People like you make ATCA look good and justify their cause.

You may be good with words, but you can not disguise your relentless bigotry & racism towards Turkish Cypriots GR.

Whilst you maintain & support double standards & promote your "pro hellen" ideals with a "Cypriot" mask, then The Turkish Republic Of Northern Cyprus will flourish.

Your Big Dream ended in '74 & we will never allow it's flame to be lit again.

You may never be able to digest the facts but insallah your children will learn to see beyond your hate and learn to love again.
