The Libertines are pretty rad, but when are they coming to California? I envy you European kids; the Libertines are all over your area. This sites cool, but why shouldn't it be, it's about the Libertines.

I'm sure they'll be in the states as soon as they're allowed! They're playing Cochella though. Isn't that in California?

Yeah it's in California, but the tickets are $75 and the Libertines are really the only band I like that's going to be playing Saturday. Plus I think Coachella is near L.A. and I'm up near San Francisco. Better yet, the Libertines should come play at my univeristy. UC Santa Cruz.

Maybe they'll do a few dates while they're there. Might as well make the most of it, if they do let them in the country!

Has the whole visa issue been sorted now then...?

Richard James Perrins? I don't think I know him, but I may have seen him. The men with English accents tend to stand out here. But I will keep an eye open for him and ask around. Wow, someone in Santa Cruz likes the Libertines too. That's great!! Yeah, hopefully they do some more touring in California, because I want to see them badly!! I doubt I could go to Coachella anyway, but hopefully they stop in San Francisco or something.

Saw this... thought this might be of interest

'Looks like the boys in the band are playing at Slims here in San Francisco on 24 APR:

http://www.slims-sf.com/

Since they are playing the Coachella Festival a couple of days later (26 APR), it looks like they're making the most of their California visit!'

This is not in the US but in Germany once again. Libs are confirmed for :

'Revierpark Wischlingen'.
26. - 27. July

otherbands confirmed are:

Aereogramme
Ash
The Cooper Temple Clause
Danko Jones
Donots
Fireside
Kettcar
The Libertines
McLusky
Miles
Mother Tongue
Muff Potter
Slut

How long did you stay at the Dublin Castle? I left quite early around 11.30.
On my way out someone gave me a badge of some band and told me to write something about them. Do I look the spitting image of some journalist I am not aware of?

I cannot wait to get my pics developed. Just took a look at yours - the lark in the park ones are fantastic!

I went to see the Black Moses with Ian, poor love came all the way down from Glasgow, sitting on the train on Friday night while the Libs were playing, awwww. We must have left around the same time as you, I didn't see you to say goodbye, then we went to a club with the Kirstys.

I would imagine they'll do a tour in america this year, especially if they go down well at coachella. As soon as they get their visa problems sorted i would have thought it would be top of their list

When speaking to john on friday he seemed to think they were doing more than the festival. However, he had no idea about this thursdays gig, so I'm not sure how reliable that is....

uhmm..so if it is not true..what's The Buffalo Bar peoples plan? Lure a horde of debauched Libertines & Libertinettes into the basement and then...nick all their promo Cds they brought along to have them signed by puppy eye and casanova? ;)

I do have two spare tix, by the way - maybe three - that means names on the list for the reserved tix.

Anyone interested drop me a line. First come first served. You being a girl would help..since the names on the list are girls names.

by the time you'd posted that I was already completely lost in ticket-chaos..at first there were two spares..then when I had already promised those to someone else it turned out I needed one of them back.
I hope you got a ticket after all or somehow managed to get in.

Oh and will they ever release any of those old songs they played? it'd be a sin against mankind to keep them a secret.
