so here we are... stranded in paris. in an internetcafé in Montmartre near the Sacré-Coeur and the Elysée Montmartre. with only one fag left and a toothbrush. rude french people shouting at us,as we are waiting for the bus...
a gloomy peace this morning with it brings. it seems like the end of a great adventure, a wild love affair...thank you carl, gary, john.and farewell peter.
I hope we'll see each other again.
and myth lives on ...

Hello dearies,

did you at least get the publication with the libertine make up advertisements to keep yourselves entertained?

Lipglossily,

How was it?
Have prices pour le douche raised from trois Euro in the meantime?
Any more sightings of Peter treating tourists to free songs on that open top double decker bus?

I've seen their tourbus outside Elysée Montmartre - and then later bumped into their manager who was completely off her face shouting mad abuse in funny French at passers by outside ED supermarket.
The bass chick is becomeing somewhat of a legend..I heard Johnny Marrs tour manager is a becoming a bit obsessed with her.
But no sighting of the girls - there was a group of drunken screaming people rolling around on the sidewalk after the gig. It might have been them. But I didn't dare walk over and take a closer look.

I hear that The Shagarags refused M.A.S.S.'s offer of a support slot and that one of them is to join The Datsuns. Does that mean they are going to split?!? *worried* not another great band losing it!

hélène girl, i tried to e-mail you today, but I couldn't...tidy up your e-mail account...delete those porno e-mails ;-))
mmmh, yeah..what else? this kate ryan song is awful.I heared it on the radio -in a cab- some time ago. and she didn't even know what 'libertine' means...she started to talk about freedom and liberty etc. well whatever, they should patent the name?? ;-))or whatever you have to do in such a case...
oh and by the way, -i'm sure it's of no interest anymore- but has someone metnioned carl's changed lyrics?! I can't remeber everything I'm afraid..but I'm quite sure about those lines in horrorshow: [...]pete there is a screw,it's pointed at your head[...]and in death on the stairs:[...]pete,if you really need it, you wouldn't leave us behind[...] especially the last one cut me to the quick.I almost started to cry...betty,alex,hélène or whoever...can you remember some other changed lyrics...I think there were a few more. alright then, see ya all byebye

I am not sure I heard him singing 'Pete' - but defenitely heard the [...] you wouldn't leave *us* behind[...] bit. Or maybe it was "why did you leave us behind"- memory is a bit hazy.
It seemed like a plea to Peter to come back not at all like the band saying 'good riddance' - if that does make sense. I guess you'd have had to be there to get it - it sounds odd in print on here.

Hello hello Lily and Alex and Betty!!

Sorry I don't have the courage to write a proper and long email to give some news but i should be able to chat later that week, i promise!! i just started to work and i'm just quite tired at the moment, i didn't do much but i think those rude parisians are just too tiring for me! (and Paris is just not the same without you and the Libs ;))

Lily, about the pics, my hotmail account doesn't allow more than a certain amount of attached files (1048Ko? i'm not sure) so if you could send them in 2 ou 3 mails in 2 ou 3 days it would be great :))

Love
