Yes...I heard about it on another message board. It was on ebay and bidding was at $65.00!!
Just disgusting; if one must have one of those things, I say be a Libertine and make your own.
It's also disgusting to look at ebay and see babyshambles, Sailor Sessions and Chickenshack being marketed.

We'll have to have some drinks and get out the marker pens and make our own, then!
And don't think I wouldn't if there would've been a Bilo gig while I'm in town.

I was the first to make Free Doherty Tshirts....
www.cafepress.com/freepete
In the spirit of Pete, I'm selling them at no profit to myself. They're a bit pricey but that's the website, not me. Hearing that some shirts are going on Ebay is f---ing disgusting. It's a sham and totally against what Pete is all about--like selling the Babyshambles sessions.

I generally dislike the idea of a "Free Pete Doherty" shirt... sold with or without profit to anyone. I know I might sound like my own granny now, but don't you think there is a reason why Pete has been put in jail? Noone would complain if a "normal" person without Pete's celeb status had been sentenced, so only because Pete's a brilliant songwriter and musician and... should he get a special treatment? I don't think so... almost as stupid as "Free Winona".

Betty I know what you're saying, but I think if you look at the judge's comments during Pete's trial..he DID receive special treatment--it just wasn't positive. Really the whole idea that Pete, a public figure, could receive the same treatment as any of us--just isn't the case.

I do believe that everyone else would've been locked up... and I did look at what the judge said... oh well whatever, I dunno... maybe the time in jail gives pete time to think - and I'm not saying he should come to the conclusion that he must get back together with carl, blabla... but maybe to think about what he wants... hm. whatever.
