little question:

why do i have so much trouble with connecting thelibertines.de?

when i try to open it eight of ten times it doesn't work. are you familiar with this problem? or is it my computer (it's a quite new one though).

the problem is that this website is based on a free geocities account which only gives you so much bandwidth/data transfer per month. which means if too many people visit the site, it is basically shut down by geocities for an hour. that's when you get the error messages.

we've been thinking about moving to another provider with more bandwidth, but the problem is that it's so friggin' expensive, and of course a lot of work, too... changing all the links etc. And of course there's also the question of what will happen to the site when the libs are no more, which could be any day... so we've been wondering whether it's worth all the work???

opinions on this?

i think it's not a good idea to do that. it's to expensive and the future of the band is not so very sure anymore. just leave it this way.
