So im a fan but I dont follow all the latest news. Last I heard Pete was out of the band. Is he back in and touring with the band in america? If not, im not going to buy a ticket to the phila show. Anyone know what the deal is?

the deal is you shouldn`t consider yourself a fan of the band if you just like Pete. The band plays really well without him as well..of course something is missing but it`s still terrific!
If you just wanna see Pete go to the babyshambles tour in the UK or wait until they come to the States or wait until Pete might be dead.
The deal is, the Libertines is Carlos, John and Garry as well. Carl also wrote the songs.
Take the Libertines they way they are at the moment or leave it.

yep, agree, they´re great even without peter. anthony (on guitar) is doing a very good job and he´s a cool guy, wouldn´t mind him staying in the band actually, if pete is happy with his babyshambles.
pete and carl do write the best songs together and their voices blend so well, it´s fun to watch them live, but you know, there´s not much we can do as fans.
wouldn´t want to miss them.... isn´t the concert sold out yet?
