Dear Beroda,
I hope you will consider it an honor that I would like you, and a few others who have put in their time and money promoting the Cyclone and Montego on the internet, to participate in selecting a name to designate the rare 70 Cyclone mystery spoiler.
I have completed the sheetmetal fabrication. Currently I am applying body filler to smooth over the welded areas. As soon as I have it all smoothed out, it goes to the body shop for painting. It is coming out just great. I wish I could take credit for the design after doing all this work. I can only assume it came from Mercury, and think I have it very close to how it looked on the car I saw. The ends on mine may come to more of a point than the original. I did design my spoiler as a single piece, eliminating the crease in the center where the two piece spoilers join together.
If you would like to offer a name (names)for consideration, plese post it on the "response".
Perhaps I can post all the names and we can vote to pick a favorite.
I will contact Dan Davis at the Mustang site, Beroda at Mercury Free Servers, Monte Scott in Utah, and Robert Day at the Montego Cyclone Registry.
This is for designation purposes only, to distinguish it from the spoiler made by Monte Scott, or offered by Kar Krafters or other companies.
No one has come forward and claimed to have seen this spoiler except for myself. Maybe I can put the name on the spoiler. Thanks and hope you come up with something.
