| In Googling Mercury Cyclone Restoration I was directed to this forum. I haope this is the appropriate question to ask in this venue? I am a longtime Ford restorer with several Mustang projects completed including my last 67 GT with the orginal 390 4-sp.
I am looking for something new and a little off the usual path. I really like the lines of the 68-69 Cyclone and will soon begin the search for a restoration candidate. I do have a few questions for the forum members to help me avoid a lost cause car that is either too far gone or parts are not available for.
What are the typical rust areas in the Cyclone? Are replacment panels available?
Who is the best supplier for replacement parts (i.e. Year One, NPD).
What are the areas to look for to turn a car down for restoration and find another?
For the most part are Torino parts of the same year interchangeable?
Thank you for any responses available. |
