There is an adjusting bolt on the top of the box. It has a straight slot for screw driver, and a jam nut.

Lift the wheels off the ground to let all pressure off the linkage.
Loosen the jam nut and tighten the screw untill it stops. Do not over tighten. Put no pressure on it!!!! Then hold it in place and tighten the jam nut. It usally makes a big difference.

Have you checked the rubber flange joint that connectes the steering columb to the steering box???? This is a common problem area also.
