I know your problem very well. See "429 running hot" on page 5 of this forum. My car was fitted with a Griffin before I bought it,so I guess you must decide if you want to go down the 100% original NOS path or run slightly modified like some of us?
You will notice information given on this forum is very specific and its dedicated to the 100% correct restoration of these rare cars.

Since the original posts I have since replaced the thermostat, added Redline Water Wetter which appears to have lowered the temperature further, also an overflow can, but its our mild winter here, so next summer will be the test.
From my research I have the only 429 Grande in Australia, so any mods made (mainly electronics) can easily be reversed to go back to 100% original. As parts are cheap in USA (by Aus prices) an aftermarket radiator could be fitted until you find a NOS part.
