Response to Re: Check Pitman Arm

Thanks again guys, I did'nt think to lock the wheel, will do that next time. Wheel bearings OK other linkages seemed OK but will check again now I have some info to go on. As most of the car has been restored and the steering box, repainted as with other linkages showing fresh paint I assumed all this would have been re-newed.
When I test drove the car (left hand drive) on right hand drive roads, and me being 5'6" I was just trying not to crash the thing & did'nt really notice the steering play?
You know what its like when ones heart wants a Mustang!!
