All my information says Ram Air was part of a package. When you got Ram Air it cam with the hood locks, blacked out hood, and engine decals IE; 429 RAM AIR. In 1971 if you got any of these you got them all.
It was available on any model Mustang that had a 351C or 429 S/CJ engine.
Coupe, Convertible, Sports roof, Mach 1.
But don't confuse the NASA type scooped hood with having Ram Air, it had to be added to this hood.
