The only year that you could get the NASA hood painted the black/argent, with the PAINT ONLY option, was 1973.

For 71-72, the paint came with the R/A and hood locks, except for the exceptions/mistakes Bob stated.


(Bob Perkins has a White Boss 351 where it's hood was installed at the factory with the Mach 1 hood paint pattern, so mistakes were made?)
