429 heads

what are the stampings on the 1970 429 heads i have some that are stamped c8ve-e are these cobra heasds the engine also has an external oiler cooler help

Check out the magasite link below. Do0e-R is cast on S/CJ heads. 70 and 71 are the only model years they made them.

C8VE are std 429-460 heads made in 1968.
There are Cobra Torinos that came with the std 429 4V engine and not the CJ or SCJ.
