Response to A sneak into the Piece de Resistance of SIHH-2004, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Gyrotourbillon-I! |
| As I recall Jaw's various comments on JLC, it is not difficult to imagine JLC fast moving up the rankings amongst the best in the business. As I read his detailed post, I can imagine the efforts put in by the whole team to make this close to perfection as possible, in the JLC tradition, not rushing it but ensuring patents are properly lodged. This ensures that there's long term strategic directions set for the company rather than quick short-term gains in some other industries we have come across. Whilst this watch is definitely out of my league in terms of ownership (like Damien said, I have to mortgage more than the house), I am really looking forward to seeing it SIHH. The adrenaline's pumping fast as I write. Countdown just started!!!
Cheers
Tuck
PS Jaw - must have been a pain knowing but not being able to write about it until now. I didn't realise it was almost 2-1/2 years since. Great patience and professionalism!!!
