We have seen the very successful and magnificent Reverso anniversary party a few days ago.
Still June was also the time for an exhibition of some marvelous vintage Reversos, some cherished limited future vintages and some really new babies from the Manufacture Jaeger-Le Coultre.
An exhibition was taking place in Nantes, on the mouth of the river Loire, at Daguze, just recently rebuilt and refocussed on horology.
The event was organized by Mr and Mrs Williamson, and by the French MJLC staff managed by our well-known Yves Meylan:
It was a great success, showing that interest can be initiated fastly with content.
Here is Olivier from the MJLC French after-sales service at work:
The exhibition was showing some original 1930s Reversos:
The interest was also created by some of the most cherished modern era Reverso models:
Some of the new products from SIHH 2006 were also on display.
The Atmos Classique Transparente (yes I know this one is from last year, but it's so beautiful!):
The new Reverso Squadra Chronograph GMT:
And back of the same piece:
The new Master Geographic:
And the new Reverso Grande Sun Moon:
Seemingly the Grande Complication a Tryptique was not here, but we didn't miss it, so overwhelmed by so many desirable pieces.
Each star will have its time of glory.
Thank you very much Mr and Mrs Williamson and Mr Yves Meylan for bringing these watches where we don't see them so often.
It was a nice time and a great opportunity to create interest for horology.
