Double Barrels of 8-day movements run in parallel, not in series...

This is to clarify that the 2 barrels in Calibre 879 (Septantieme), calibre 875 (Reverso Grande
Date) & Calibre 874 (Reverso Grande Reserve) are all running in parallel, not in series.

(The 2 barrels layout)

I have heard in at least one Septantieme presentation indicating that the 2 barrels are running
in series.

(The original pre-release design, ran in series)

The confusion might have been caused by the early pre-release design of the Septantieme's
double-barrel, which ran in series.

(The modified design, released products running in parallel)

The slight inaccuracy in the Power Reserve Indicator was fully corrected after this change in
design.

(The Power Reserve Indicator is more accurate after the modification)

That is a beautiful technical set of drawings rendered! thanks for the trouble and time taken....always very much more rewarding to look at these things from this perspective!

great stuff! Bernard.

Do you have any resources to get such technical drawings for FP JOURNE ? or the Lange 1?
