Pngs are around and about in Cairns and there is an assocation. Independence ball (Sept)is coming up and a good way to meet the PNG mob around Cairns. Just introduce yourself to someone (PNGean) on the street and take it from there.

Wantoks pulap na kapsait stap.....Friday is around the corner, go to Rusty's Market @57-89 Grafton Street (Friday, Saturday & Sunday).

Cairns Central is another location where you will bump into wantoks but again most residents are ignorant, the only ones that will talk to you are those passing through.

Oh and the Casino....there the PNGuineans who go there are happy-go-lucky ones so you have no problem getting to know each other.

ENJOY & GOOD LUCK!!

This is not the place to name people for gossip. If you have griviences against anyone, take it up with them first, if it does not work then take it up with the proper authorities.. and let them handle it.

Gossip leaves bad feelings amongst the community groups.

I can't for the life of me understand how anything I've read on this thread can be considered gossip. Or have you erased comments that were gossip and are commenting about the ones we never saw? If so, then I understand.

PNG man at centre of murder in Cairns recently

No score for this post
December 20 2010, 10:01 AM

The main reason for the anger lately has been the death of an aboriginal woman in Carns city about a month ago.

The last person seen near her was a black man with a PNG shirt on.

Locals say they will take to the streets if it turns out to be a PNG man who killed her
