I think I'm stuck with 3 and 4 and working on 6.

I have no ultimate goal length except for it to grow as long as it possibly can. But I also want it to be healthy so I do snip splits and other damage when I see it. One the other hand, over the next few years, I'll find a trimming schedule that will help give me the maximum amount of growth possible. Not trimming at all just doesn't work for my hair's growth.
