#1 & #2, that's me (for now)

I don't do S & D's, my hair is fine and my eyes are not sharp enough to see the splits, even against a contrasting background. Hey, maybe I don't have any
I don't like "scraggly" ends, but I want my hair to grow, grow, grow so I'm leaning towards #1. Still the idea of not trimming is rather new to me, so I don't know if I can keep away from the scissors.....
