I'm more about balance with my total "look" than long hair per se. So, once I find my ideal balance, that is the length I'll keep. It must be the artist in me that sees it this way. Of course, my idea of balance and someone else's will probably be way different, but for me, it seems that my hair around waist looks good with my height, body shape, etc. That plus I'm not sure it'll grow too much longer! I do trim, but not on a schedule; just when it needs it.
