Response to Looking for some support

I wondered, just like you said, how it was that no one besides me had a bunch of grey hairs popping out! I started getting enough of 'em to show when I was 29 and I thought I was the only one. I didn't realize for the longest time that everyone was already using color.

My husband finds long hair feminine, and he likes how I take care of mine. I wouldn't be so into it without The Loom and I'd probably have shorter hair now, but I sure like being different. I like how it feels all around me, and how it looks when I let it down, silver and all. One thing about going with the grey and length and being older, is that it does require routine care to be at its best. This week I saw a lady probably in her 50s who had great brown and grey, wavy hair. It always gives me a shot of confidence when I see that. Here in northern Arizona I've seen lots of waist length hair, there are so many Indians, and I've seen middle age and senior ladies with long, long braids and big buns.

Don't be disgruntled about being a grey haired girl. I think long, silver hair goes perfectly with your verse. And now that I'm finally able to upload my response I see you've already responded. lol! Well, don't follow the crowd. You already did it once eh? and regretted it. Stick to your guns! Step up to the plate and keep it with conviction. I'll post a pic of my grey from January, okay? I know it's not for everybody, but the longer it gets the more I stand apart from most. That, I admit, I rather like.
