My hair gets poofy for a day or two after I wash it, and extra frizzy when it is really humid. I think my hair just likes to poof in general. The only time is isn't poofed is if I put a ton of conditioner into it to weigh it down or just before it gets to the point of being really greasy between washings. And even then, there's still some frizz.
